In 2013, as the world became fascinated by wearable technology, the Guo brothers (co-founders of PETKIT and hardware engineers at the time) asked themselves a vital question: We have used technology to elevate human life, so why not use our profession to bring better welfare to animals? As passionate pet lovers and dedicated owners themselves, they noticed that our companions were not receiving enough specialized attention. They soon left their corporate roles to embark on a meaningful journey to redefine the modern pet lifestyle and elevate the raising experience for pet parents.

"I have my own companions, and I experienced the common pain points of pet parenting firsthand. For instance, many pet parents struggle with whether to leave their fur babies at home without air conditioning during the scorching summer, or how to properly care for them during a business trip or vacation," says Guo, CEO of PETKIT. To solve these exact challenges, they invented the world's first smart pet house with climate control, alongside intelligent feeders and smart water fountains, continuing to define brand-new products and smart contexts of use every year.
